In the hotel and ryokan section of the "2014 Michelin guide special edition for Fukuoka and Saga,
" Onyado Chikurintei is the only establishment to have been awarded "5 red pavilions"
which indicate "the highest level of luxury" (red indicates a higher degree of comfort).
